oh god okay you all should know about my recent obsession of Star Wars and all
and Padmé's costumes and shizzz
and so
I decided to design my own LOL |D;; <3

I'm REALLY love how this turned out, although I'll probably tweak it and change some colors, but all in all, I am extremely satisfied. This was also my first time using Corel Painter! (well not technically, but in reality it was) It was a little hard to get used to it, but I REALLY love it. It's an amazing program and I'm soooo happy it came with my tablet <3333

Anyway, this is a design for one of Padmé's gowns, probably one for the throne room? I don't know. But the process was fun and frustrating all at the same time. Frustrating because I didn't know what to do with her headdress! The headdresses, in my opinion, are the biggest/flashiest/most important part of Padmé's gowns, and the headdress I made kept looking too much like other designs. The design you see here is probably my 10th or 11th draft. In the end, I wanted a circular... thing... (XD) to go around her head, because I remember when Padmé is wearing her Coruscant gown, there was a circle in the background that went around her head. At first I thought it was a part of her costume, which made me love that particular one even more, but then saw it wasn't. So I decided that since there HADN'T been any gowns designed with a circular thing, I would make it myself. C:

The colors were originally going to be sort of blue and purple, but I decided against it and went with more of the same color scheme from her red Throne Room gown instead, mostly because I wanted the circular headdress thing to be gold. By the way, that's a veil attatched to the circular part of the headdress covering her eyes and such, if you couldn't tell.
