Wonderland - Page 3

A project for my English class. It's a story adaption of a famous story/fairy tale, and I chose to do Alice in Wonderland.

Alice followed the strange cat out of the forest and onto a long, and quite grey, winding path to what seemed like nowhere. The two walked (or, one walked, the other floated) for hours and hours. Alice began to slow down, her strength giving out slowly...

"Hurry, child," the cat said, clearly annoyed. "The day grows longer. We are running out of hours."

Alice felt weary. Her spirit was slowly diminishing, and she longed to be home even more than before. As she was on the brink of tears, the cat spoke:

"We are here."
